The Open Air Museum – Inn “Pastewnik”

In the area of the former manorial estate there is one of its kind an open air museum used as an inn, hotel and camping. In the years 1976–1996 the so-called “live open air museum” was realised. Eight objects from the town and its environ were replaced and reconstructed there such as a larch cottage, a weaver house of Krzeczowice with wide hall, a laborer house, a butter merchant house with deep cellar, house of Gac village with porches, a rick with shingled roof, a free-standing cellar – gruba, wooden-stone forge with elements of blacksmith workshop. These buildings are used for hotel, gastronomical, admnistrative-clerical purpose. In summer, in the “Pastewnik” area many outdoor cultural-entertaining events are organised.
