Church of the Assumption

The Roman church in Podolínec was mentioned in 1235 yet. It is probable that the one-nave Gothic church was built at its place in the late 13th century. In the 18th century it was expanded by adding two chapels. In the church there are six Baroque altars and the Gothic baptismal font from the 14th century is also of high value. The presbytery is coated by Gothic murals from the period between 1360–1430.
